Folding a piece of square leather results in structural beauty. Origami-like structural dynamism and the charm of delicate material. The texture brought about by the contrast is mixed with the feel of leather and gold foil; leather, silver foil, and japan; and other combinations. The result: clutch bags and tote bags with new looks.
戸田 祐希利
1977年愛知県生まれ。富山県で家具デザインを学んだ後、同県内の家具工房に職人として在籍。
2005年小泉産業株式会社入社、家具製品の企画・開発部門でデザイナーとして携わる。
2011年、デザインスタジオ「暮らすひと暮らすところ」を設立。
大阪のクリエイティブユニットgrafと共同開発した”cut piece”、モメンタムファクトリーOriiのカッパーウエアーブランド”tone”を手掛けるほか、友禅染色ブランド”Ams,Tram,Gram”のためのバッグ、大阪の家具ブランド”see-saw”の家具など、幅広くデザインを発表している。
Yukitoshi Toda
1977 Born in Aichi Prefecture. Studies furniture design in Toyama Prefecture, and goes on to work as a craftsman at a furniture studio in the same prefecture.
2005 Begins work at Koizumi Sangyo Group. Works to produce furniture products as a designer in the company’s planning and development departments.
2011 Establishes “Kurasuhito Kurasutokoro” design studio. Produces a wide range of design including: - “cut piece” (collaborative project with the “graf” creative unit from Osaka) - Momentum Factory Orii’s “tone” brand which produces kappa wear - bag design for Yuzen dyeing brand “Ams, Tram, Gram” - furniture design for “see-saw” (Osaka-based furniture design brand)
